National Night Out | Patronicity
National Night Out Block Party 2024National Night Out (NNO) is held each year on the first Tuesday of August in communities around the country. The Vernon Community Network and the Vernon Police Department will again be working together to bring this premier event to downtown Rockville.
This year the event will be held from 5-8 pm on August 6 (rain date August 7) in the Ladd & Hall Parking Lot.
What is National Night Out?From its humble beginnings in Talcott Park as an offshoot of the neighborhood watch Program sponsored by the Rockville Community Alliance and the Vernon Police Dept., our Block Party today is filled with free school supplies for our children, free food, free entertainment, Police and Fire "Touch-a-Truck" and over 45 organizational booths with information and free "give-a-ways".
Most importantly, neighbors come to meet neighbors. Come join us for an evening and celebrate life!
